Leicestershire Community Champions Awards 2024 announces finalists

The awards recognise those making an outstanding, positive contribution to their communities.

The finalists for the highly anticipated Leicestershire Community Champions Awards (LCCA) 2024 have been announced, recognising the outstanding individuals, charities, and organisations that have gone above and beyond to support and uplift communities across the county.


Winners will be revealed during a special awards ceremony on Thursday, November 7, at The City Rooms in Leicester.


Launched by the Furnley House Foundation in 2020, the awards celebrate the endeavours of Leicestershire individuals and organisations who continually go above and beyond to help and improve the lives of those in need.


The Furnley House Foundation is the brainchild of Furnley House, a leading Leicestershire independent financial and mortgage adviser, created to improve the lives of those less fortunate. Since 2018, the Foundation has raised over £250,000 for various charities and causes, benefiting countless lives.

Last year, the winner of the headline Charity of the Year category was Steps Conductive Education Centre, at an evening attended by over 140 people.
