Everards announces Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland as Charity of the Year 2025

Everards has announced that Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland will be its Charity of the Year for 2025.
Richard Everard, President of Everards, has proudly supported Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland for over 30 years, fostering a relationship that has had a meaningful impact on the local community.
This continued partnership further strengthens Everards’ long-standing commitment to supporting local causes and its ongoing work through the Everard Family Foundation.
Andy Wilson MBE, Managing Director of Everards, said: “We are delighted to continue this partnership with Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland. We have a great Everards community, and I know our teams and customers will help us raise vital funds for this fantastic cause.
"This is a partnership that not only gives back but also allows us to have a lot of fun along the way.”
Everards has already kicked off its fundraising efforts at its annual raceday, where generous business owners donated £4,000 through a charity auction. In addition, Everards is planning a range of exciting activities to further raise funds throughout 2025, including George’s Dog Walk, donations per pint of beer, and fun events organised by the Everards team.
