The firm opened its Leicester office in February.
Businesses in Leicester and the Midlands can now benefit from HR, employment law, and health and safety services from Bhayani HR & Employment Law, which opened a new office in Leicester city centre.
The firm was originally set up six years ago in Yorkshire by solicitor, Jay Bhayani, who is highly regarded in the region.
Bhayani HR & Employment Law already has offices in Sheffield, Leeds and London.
Jay grew up in Leicester after coming to England with her family from Uganda in the early 70s as economic migrants. She went to university in Hull and settled in Yorkshire after securing a training contract with a law firm there.
The University of Hull graduate has worked as an employment solicitor for 25 years, going from trainee to senior partner and culminating in setting up her niche firm, Bhayani HR & Employment Law, which now employs 13 people.
Starting in Sheffield and expanding into Leeds and London, Leicester was a natural option for Jay's next city to do business in.
“My roots are in Leicester and I have lots of connections there and in the Midlands, so what better place?" Jay told us.
"It’s a vibrant, cosmopolitan city full of fantastic entrepreneurial spirit and many great businesses that we feel would benefit from our services, whether it’s HR, employment law or health and safety advice and representation, or our unique, straight forward, fixed-fee package Watertight, which offers a one-stop shop for all people management needs.
"I’m very excited to reconnect with the region and make new friends and business allies.”
Jay’s natural enthusiasm, confidence and passion to be at the top of her game has passed on to her team, including Keith Brown who heads the new office in Leicester, which opened in February.
Keith, who lives in Leicester, has several years’ experience of delivering professional support services to businesses and is keen to offer Bhayani HR & Employment Law’s distinct service to the business community in Leicester.
Keith said: “It is exciting to be offering this new service in Leicester. I’m happy to offer a free initial consultation either in our office, virtually or at a business’ own premises, where I can get to know a business better and explain how we can help.
"I have to say that I’m delighted that, so far, the reception has been very warm and encouraging.”
