Just because Restaurant Week is over doesn’t mean you can’t go out and enjoy great food!
As you know, our team at Niche magazine love heading out and about in Leicester and checking out the hot spots for food, activities and cultural experiences.
Last night, our Marketing Director Sally Smith headed on over to New Walk to get a taste of authentic Italy with a trip to Dough What.
This eatery joined the Leicester circuit a couple of years back and has been making its mark in the city ever since. From competitions on game days of LCFC to hosting pizza parties the appeal has been continuously high. Of course, you don’t keep a reputation like this without the food and service being top tier to encourage diners to return.
We are pleased to say our experience confirmed exactly what we thought… Dough What is a restaurant everyone should frequent. With true Neapolitan pizza’s , great coffee and Dolce who could resist.
Sally said: “With a cozy and inviting atmosphere there was plenty of choice from deep dish pizzas to a selection of Penne pastas. The menu has enough variety and choice that leaves you wanting to return and tick off another item.
"On this occasion we opted for a Mushroom and Black Truffle Oil pizza and was pleased to see they weren’t scared to pack a punch and were generous with the toppings ensuring flavour bombs with every mouthful."
Dough What attracts families, friends, couples and colleagues. From a swipe-right-first-meet to a casual catch up, this space ticks the box.
With an attentive team to look after you to serving up delightful dishes we give this 5/5 and recommend a visit. We can confidently say we will be returning!
