Market stalls have been selected around the theme of 'home'.
The Arches Apartments are to host a special open day and artisan market on Thursday, June 2.
The event will raise money for mental health charity Lamp (Leicestershire Action for Mental Health Project), as part of their Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Free to attend, the artisan market will offer stalls from an array of Leicester-based small businesses.
The market will take place in the property’s terrace area, from 10am to 3pm. Stalls signed up so far include local bakeries, painters and artisanal candlemakers. Most of the businesses that have been approached are themed around the idea of home, offering items that might appeal to the building’s residents as they look to decorate their apartment.
The open day will also serve as the perfect opportunity to view the luxury apartments and meet the management team. "It's going to be a fantastic event," said Resident Services Manager, Charlotte Brown. "We're looking forward to welcoming new visitors to the building, and giving our residents the chance to visit the market stalls."
Lamp is The Arches’ chosen charity for the next 12 months, having been voted for by the residents as the cause they’d like to support.
Opening in October 2021, The Arches is a build to rent scheme – the first of its kind in Leicester. The property was built specifically with the intention of renting the apartments, and aiming to develop a lovely, community atmosphere for like-minded residents.
The building includes a gym, media room, community lounge, and 184 apartments consisting of studios and one and two-beds.
There's still time for businesses to book a market stall. Just get in touch via Facebook or Instagram.
The Arches Apartments can be found in All Saints Road, Leicester.
Visit the market at The Arches on Thursday, June 2 from 10am until 3pm.
